FAQs

Q: What exactly do you do?

A: We produce high quality aerial video and take aerial photographs using drones. We also have a professionally equipped production studio to edit and process the footage we shoot.

You can view your video and stills on any 'connected' device - smartphone, tablet, desktop or smartTV.

Q: Are you qualified to do this?

A: Yes we are. We are formally trained and certified. We are registered with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) as operators of Unmanned Aircraft Systems, and we are certified by the CAA to conduct Commercial Operations, day or night.

We hold Public Liability Insurance covering us to operate in the UK and overseas.

Q: Who are your customers?

A: Everyone. Estate agents, surveyors,  conservationists, hoteliers, foresters, farmers, ecologists, brides-to-be, you name it. In fact, anyone who wants a dazzling aerial view of anything. We are versatile, and we adapt our approach to suit our clients' requirements.

Q: What kind of drone do you use?

A: We have a couple of aircraft, primarily we use a dji Mavic Pro Platinum drone, renowned as possibly the smallest and quietest professional quality drone available.

This means we are really unobtrusive, but our equipment is very powerful and capable.

Q: What kind of quality can I expect?

A: Dazzling. We can shoot up to and including 4k (Ultra High Definition) video, and take stunning stills in either .jpg or RAW format. RAW files contain much more data than .jpg files, so in our production studio we can do much more to enhance them.

Q: What's your operational range?

A: The aircraft we principally use is capable of flying up to an altitude of 16,000 feet, and horizontally out to about 8 miles. However, we are bound by CAA restrictions for safety reasons, so legally we can fly up to an altitude of 400 feet, and horizontally out to a radius of half a Kilometre.

We can start to record at ground level, so we can shoot from ground level up to 400 feet within a 1 kilometre circle. Safety permitting, of course.
